Market Garden

farm produceOver the last several years, Infinity View Farm has stepped into the world of growing our own food.

We originally purchased a small Belted Galloway herd and gave the all natural, grass-fed path a try, resulting in some of the best tasting beef I have ever had, anywhere!

Despite the great results, I decided that being a herdsman wasn’t the life for me and I’m now a vegetarian and the cows went to live with a friend in Tennessee.

About the same time we bought the cows, we purchased four chicks.  Those four chickens started a love for the talkative hens and the tasty eggs they produce.  Hens are like chips, you can never have just four, or 10, or 20…

I’ve been growing veggies in small quantities for years, always resulting in an abundance of tomatoes, greens, peppers and other garden basics.  So, in comes the Market Garden!

In 2017, we will be selling eggs, and the garden will be MUCH larger and have a variety of awesome tasting veggies that will keep coming in ALL YEAR.  Yes, that means even in the cold months. There are low intensity growing methods that make four-season veggies very doable in Central Kentucky, and we are very excited about being able to provide this 365 day service to the community.

We will be selling our spring and summer produce at local farmers’ markets in Central Kentucky, so, keep your eye out for us. More info on the winter veggies later…
